How we got here

After conducting a National Sleep Survey of over 2000 U.S. adults we found that 65% of people have difficulty sleeping while traveling by car, train or plane and more than 50% of respondents agreed that their ability to enjoy an adventure was compromised by jet lag and travel fatigue. We knew that after dedicating years on improving the pillow in the bedroom, it was time for us to try our hand at the pillow you take with you on trips – a.k.a. the travel pillow! We were tired of seeing the same horseshoe, U-shaped designs or tacky ones that made you look ridiculous. So, we got to work with one of the best design firms in the world, IDEO and listened to sleep researchers, flight attendants, and traveleres to build the ultimate travel pillow. 2. How do I use this?
There are multiple ways to use this patent pending design:

1. You can use it as a normal neck pillow with the hood down 2. Pull the hood over for more privacy and pillowy support on the sides of your head 3. Pull the eye mask on for extra privacy and darkness to create your own little sleep capsule 4. Folded up to use as a pillow or back cushion
3. How do I care for my new POD?
The POD is meant to be used and is easy to care for. Everything touching outer surfaces is machine washer friendly. To wash the POD: Carefully unzip the neck support cushion and remove the foam (the foam will disintegrate in the wash!). Machine wash cold on a delicate cycle without other articles to prevent damage. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. When that's done, air dry flat and place the support foam back inside the cover.
4. What’s your return policy?

Sleeping to Seattle

Never have I ever slept on a flight like I did on my coast to coast flight to Seattle using my Pluto for the very first time. I had my own sleeping pod on a plane. What a great experience! Have raved about it to my whole family.

Totally worth it

I travel between East Africa and California with two small children. Normally this involves my kids finding ways to lie down while I sit up straight and attempt to sleep on the flight. (We’re talking 24 hours+) The last time I decided it was time to find a neck pillow. I spent hours researching. Pluto stood out for me immediately. I particularly liked that the neck wrap wasn’t thick. Standard neck pillows really don’t make sense to me. They force my head forward. But the cost is astronomical. So I sat with Pluto order in basket for a long time before pulling the trigger. Can the price be worth it? A extra 100$ to other high end travel pillows? Finally I closed my eyes and purchased it. To me, the choice was between the Pluto, or nothing because other pillows don’t work. Comfortable sleep if worth it. As soon as I bought though, I wanted to cancelled the order. It’s so expensive! Thankfully I didn’t. This pillow is excellent. If you travel long flights and you don’t have the luxury of business class - you deserve this. Cozy, supportive, and comforting. I love this pillow. And I don’t spent $150 lightly.

This is the best pillow I have used in my travels over the years. It is supportive of neck and it provides complete cover over eyes. It really is very comfortable.

Hands-down best ever

I literally own every travel pillow that there is to own. I will never have to buy another one after using the Pluto pillow. I may have gotten a bunch of strange looks, but it was so worth it on my 24 hour travel day home from Europe, the one thing I would suggest to the company is if they could figure out a way to make it lighter weight as sometimes, it could get hot, but most of the time planes are freezing so it works out just fine .

This traveling neck and eye shield is the best ever. I travel over 1 million miles in a year!!! And have gone through so many different traveling pillows and countless business class and economy class seats. The Pluto Pillow is my favorite by far!!!

Excellent Sleep on Long-Haul Flights

I originally purchased this for a trip from Miami to the Philippines. 24 hours in the air is no joke. This pillow kept me comfy the whole way. I love the built-in eye mask. No more rummaging through my bag or dropping it on the floor. I also love that the cover is detachable for machine washing. Worth every penny for frequent travelers!
